Another absolutely perfect day on the bike: great roads, tailwind, perfect weather, and fantastic scenery. If yesterday was Montana, today was Wyoming. We rode through a beautiful river valley, very remote, with mountains all around. It was truly a great ride. We had a mid-morning stop and a lunch stop, but otherwise we rode right through. We were at our campsite by 3pm, and all went to wash up and rinse out our clothes in the river, which was surprisingly warm. The intense sun dried our clothes in no time. The afternoon rainshower today was very mild. My computer is dead again, with a blue screen in Chinese, so I've resigned myself to taking notes by hand in a notebook and typing it all in later.

Photos below--left column: all of the agricultural work is done by hand with primitive tools. Here is a guy plowing with his Yak team. Tibet is full of gangs of boisterous Chinese tourists. This group parked their 4x4 and came into our campsite to take pictures of us. We returned the favor! Every afternoon we have tea time. Today's was particularly enjoyable in the warm sun. Right column: Some of today's scenery. The typical dinner scene in our dining tent. (lots of rice a vegetables, with a sprinkling of yak meat for protein). Stan and I completely frustrated wtih my computer.
